I have question , How long it will take after submitting the evidence . I have received RFE on Jan 15 and submitted 03/25/2008 and I have seen LUD 03/27/2008 .
How long they will take time to decide the case?

Someone told me that I-140 have to be applied 45 days from PERM approval ? Otherwise PERM will get cancelled. Is that true. Can anyone help here.

Hi,
My I-140 was approved from Nebraska service center, but my attorney sent my I-485 case to Texas. I came across few people here on IV who have experienced the same.
Did USCIS provide any information regarding this? If so could you provide the link?

Hi
I have a question regarding my spouse who is on H4 visa.she has real experience in India for 5 years. One of the company who does some projects did H1b processing through "CONSULAR PROCESSING". Her H1B is approved now.
1) Employer is saying she has to go out of the country to get the visa in order to work.
2) Apply for change of Status while staying in USA. Employer saying that there are chances of getting an RFE during that process. Is there any Premium process in Change of Status processing.
which one is advisable?
Can any one please suggest.

Folks,
We move and my wife and I did an online AR11 and ONLINE I-485 Mailing address change using USCIS website yesterday.
My wife got an automatic email confirmation that her I-485 Mailing Address is changed and we even see the LUD is changed as well
but I didnot get any email confirmation of the address change of I-485 neither I see any LUD change.
1. What should I do? Call CIS?
2. How long does it take to update Mailing Address on I-485 when changing the mailing address online after Online AR-11 submission?
Please advise

Hello, I apologyze for not giving my name away first of all, secondly I need to know what my options are if my father and mother who are permanent residents in the USA can file an I-130 for me? They obtained their legal status thru the department of labor but at the time they were approved I was already 21 years of age (the whole process started in 2000and lasted for 5 years or so); one lawyer told me that I cannot do anything since I was over 21 but I just have been in a different lawyer who told me that yes I can adjust my status thank to a grandfather law that can help me to achieve my goal in working legally in this country. I am an unmarried daughter and 27 years of age at this time.
I just don't want to spend those $5,500 can this lawyer is asking me for his services, I appreciate very much your replies and my family will too

I was also doing my part-time when I went for Visa ... For 33, I did say "yes" and gave the University name.

The Los Angeles City Council has approved a measure barring city workers for traveling to Arizona on official business and also banning the city from contracting with Arizona businesses. Some contracts for key infrastructure items are not affected, but the LA Times estimates that the vote will cost Arizona upwards of $8 million per year. I have applied for H1b to F1 visa transfer with an i-20 from a university for the Spring of 2010.
Now, I received an admission from a better university for the same term (Spirng 2010) and I wish to join the Second University.
Could you please tell me the procedure to join second university.
1. Can I let the H1-F1 visa transfe (first university) go through and then apply for change of university or something ? If so, can some one outline the procedure for transfer of university (I am worried about the time it takes for the transfer of university for me to join for Spring 2010).
2. Is it possible to change the transfer application with i-20 and appropriate financial documentation ?

I am a July 2nd filer and my checks were cashed on August 14th. I also received my receipts from my company and the notice day is August 10th while receipt date is July 2nd. Can anyone please let me know when I should expect to receive my FP's?
