You should be fine dont worry, just do it in time. I got my MTR approved in 7 weeks successfully on providing the required docs from new company.
If you have changed job after 180 days.
Just provide additional evidence about your new position and new company details. Make sure your new position matches your labor certification and I 140 requirements.

When I applied for EAD in NSC (paper file) it took 45 days to approve. Now I applied EAD for spouse on June 10th, no update so far.

I want to see action too, but with 100 members scattered all across texas, it just doesn't make sense.
Even in flower campaign a few brave ones bore the burden, the rest were watching. For any action that IV leadership picks, how can we ensure success if we don't get the commitment of members?
By joining your state chapter you are making that commitment that you are willing to be contacted by IV, and willing to stand by the organization in the hour of action.
If you are already a member, convince a friend to do the same. This organization needs committed members. We are not asking you to have to volunteer five hours a week, but when its D-Day, are you willing you stand up?

and was operating at 40% output. It was "Airborne" tab in water every 3 hours. A fellow chapter person chose coffee and breakfast at Starbucks on the morning of the rally, I chose "Airborne".

I have had this query before. I had an H1B stamping on my passport for a company I never worked for. (Company A)
But, when I applied for a H1B for a different company (Company B). My lawyer asked me if I ever worked for them and received any salary from them ... this was a RFE on my H1B case.
All I did was replied to my lawyer with a negative answer to both questions (worked, salary for Company A).
I got my new H1B approval I guess within 30 days of that RFE reply.
You might want to contact a lawyer to draft a reply to USCIS though. I do not have a copy of the letter to provide to you ... Sorry!

Got transferred to the Judiciary sub-committee and talked to someone who said that she'll pass the message along. Didn't mention that she was getting a lot of calls.

When H1-B yearly cap is getting used up within days, what is the reason for allowing H-4 to work.
The only way you would see a change in the rule is when there are not many H1-B takers, and they need to attract more families.
Don't get me wrong, i am not trying to say H-4s should not be given the oppertunity. Just think in terms of the need for this country. Not our personal needs.

Its just so disturbing that you are at the mercy of USCIS who didn't know anything about how to look and process the application.

I could not believe it either. My PD is August 2003 and EB3 from India. I have read many stories where people seem to have got GC when their PD is not current. In some cases, it appears they keep quiet about, but in some cases people seem to have corrected the situation to avoid any future complication, for example, if one decides to become U.S.Citizen at any point. It is just frustrating to think that I probably need to spend a lot of money on an attorney and go through the mental stress in resolving this because of probably an error some foolish clerk at USCIS made.

I just got laid off.
I am an EB2 (Jul 15, 2007 priority date). I jointly filed my I-140/I-485 5 months ago (1 month inside the 6 month period to become 'portable'). I was at Merrill Lynch; they said they do not typically inform immigration of laid off employees and the lawyers feel that I should still be able to get my I-140/I-485 (hence, my greencard) desp. They said, due to the current economic conditions (and subsequent large numbers of layoffs) US immigration is not to 'stick'y on the 6 month requirement for portability.
Does this sound plausible? Is there anything I need to be aware/careful of? Does it seem likely I will need to start my greencard (PERM) process from the beginning again?
Your knowledge is urgently appreciated. Many thanks!!

hermione has been very active in helping with battling immigration backlogs in general despite her "oh so close to green card status". she was responsible for one of our better pre rally videos as well. guess we can put it down to not tolerating the whole mess :-)
