Hello All,
Being on H-1 never allowed you to get promoted unless the employer did all the necessary paperwork with USCIS/DOL. EAD being work authorization not limited to current employer, can EAD mean a little more freedom to waiting-for-GC H-1Bs in terms of being able to get promoted within the organization, get different job titles, etc ?
Also, I have 140 approved and H-1B ext was granted for 3 years (till 2010). Does it make any sense to apply for EAD alongwith 485 ? If EAD gives the career advancement opportunities, can I apply for it but keep using my H-1B to re-enter US till 2010 if needed ?

Can some one reply to my post please. My question is regarding EAD only. Once I apply for EAD and go to India what happens
1. If I am not there while it approved? Can my frnd send me the EAD to India?
2. if I get called for finger printing for EAD and if dont go for it? Will my AOS will be treated as abandoned?

I allways have a problem with this site..every time it says my password is not valid and makes me change the password.. and the new password works only sometimes..is this a problem for me only..I am the only one..??

Hi all!
I'm currently working on a personal project of mine (word processor) and there are a few things i cannot seem to get my head around and i think that they are very simple to do too...Maybe... First, I'm trying to open a new instance of my program by simply clicking a menu option on my form. i'm using visual c# 08 express edition, windows forms application... I have attached an image (very small image) to show u what i mean.. i'd appreciate anyone's help/advice on this, thanks for reading :-)

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted today to scrap the controversial REAL ID law which will require states to begin implementing tough new standardized technology requirements for drivers licenses in just a few months. A number of states have rebelled against the requirements and they risk their licenses not being accepted for federal purposes - including boarding airplanes. As we are sure that the August 2009 visa bulletin EB2 India date movement is due to spill over from higher priority categories, is there any way to find exactly how much visa numbers got spilled over to EB2 India and China?

Well, the first questions are what are your other settings? What mode are you shooting in. What ISO and aperture are you shooting in? Sounds like you may have a shutter speed that is not in line with your ISO and aperture, so you're not "exposing" the sensor.
